    Основната политика на Европейския съюз (ЕС) по отношение на 54-те африкански държави се съдържа в съвместната стратегия Африка - ЕС. Съвместната стратегия Африка – ЕС беше приета от европейските и африканските лидери на втората среща на високо равнище между ЕС и Африка в Лисабон през декември 2007 г. Целта на стратегията беше да изведе отношенията между Африка и ЕС на ново, стратегическо равнище при подчертано политическо партньорство и засилено сътрудничество на всички равнища.

    ТЕРОРИЗМЪТ - ПРОБЛЕМ НА СИГУРНОСТТА НОМЕР ЕДНО

    Security has turned into one of the main sources of concern for the Europeans and around 77% of them expect the EU to increase its efforts aimed at combating terrorism. In response to these expectations the European Union has undertaken series of measures – tightening of control at external borders, improvement of police and judicial cooperation in the searching and prosecution of suspected persons, interruption of cash flows for terrorists, prevention of radicalization and combating organized crime. Security of Europe is a common priority of the European institutions. The EU strategy against terrorism has four main streams: prevention, protection, prosecution and reaction. The European Commission applies the 2015-2020 European Security Program aimed at promotion of cooperation between the member states. Furthermore the EU cooperates with other countries for improvement of external security.
