THE RELEVANCY OF DIGITAL TOUCHPOINTS IN OMNICHANNEL MARKETING ON THE CHOICE OF RELEVANT SALES CHANNELS – BASED ON GERMAN FINANCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS
2021) Joerchel, Sebastian
All German financial service providers work with omnichannel marketing and try to support the classic, traditional sales channel with digital touchpoints. They are also trying to transform traditional direct sales into a hybrid model so that they can later handle sales directly online. The target is a fully digitized sales channel. The thing, which makes a digitalization difficult is that the Germans are very traditional regarding their investments. This leeds during the time to a very conservative finance industrie in Germany. There is a lot of ambiguity within the topic of digital touchpoints. Especially because there are a lot of interactions and touchpoints with the customer and a high complexity within the topic, and they are not yet explored.

2021) Jasraui, Roni
Abstract: Technological progress is advancing further and faster. This coupled with globalization has simplified our life many times over. Worldwide production and supply chains ensure a faster and more cost-effective process for many companies. Over the last few decades, these processes have been further refined to achieve the best possible results. This also includes the German automotive industry. Which has continued to expand and become the largest industry in Germany. However, a pandemic that occurred in 2019 was enough to shut down production. The mutated coronavirus has been keeping mankind in special situation for more than 2 years and will probably be with us for several years to come. The economic damage is enormous, so that in stable countries the state had to help keep them alive. As the leading industry with most employers in Germany, the automotive industry got weakened over the past two years in several sectors. This deals with the damage that has occurred, the long-term consequences that are still to come, and possible solutions to be able to fight upcoming pandemics more efficiently with the help of digitization. The focus here is on the German automotive industry.

DIGITAL LEADERSHIP AND CORPORATE CULTURE: WHAT CHALLENGES DO MANAGER ENCOUNTER AND HOW DIGITALITY INFLUENCES LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOUR
2021) Schröder, Diana-Marie
This article presents a study that examines the link between digital leadership and corporate culture. Leading teams remotely pose new challenges for managers. For example, the lack of physical collaboration with employees can be a big impediment. The focus of this research paper is precisely on these challenges. It underlines and proves the relevance of digital leadership from the perspective of remote leadership. The extent to which leadership has changed against the background of digitality and the digital maturity of companies is examined. Digital maturity is clearly identifiable and measurable in a company and can be influenced by the leadership style of leaders and managers of different hierarchical levels within an organization. Using a practical example challenges that leaders and companies face will be verified within this empirical environment. At the same time, a methodology in the form of a workshop-format is introduced. It enables leaders and managers of different hierarchical levels to succeed in working digitally. At the same time an uniform understanding of values will be needed in order to shape a value based corporate culture.

DIGITAL VALUE CHAINS – A RESEARCH AGENDA
2021) Rueckold, Christian
Value chains have ever been subject to technological change. In recent years, digital technologies have enabled the rise of digital platforms that shaped how value chain players interact with each other whereby platform value chains reveal a specific architecture of a powerful platform core and a surrounding ecosystem of different players that participate in different ways in the value creation process. Most recently, new digital technologies such as Internet of Things and Distributed Ledgers like Blockchain are on the rise. These technologies can enable an interaction of different value chain players without the necessity of an intermediate, e.g., a platform core, which is subject to future research. This paper proposes a research agenda for this topic around three major areas: (1) the creation and maintenance of trust among value chain participants, (2) the way how coordination will happen between different value chain players and (3) which business models might evolve or disappear and how value creation and capture will look like once these digital technologies are utilized in value chains.

Solar energy is one of the most significant sources of renewable energy both in its fields of application and in thermal and photovoltaic, all over the world. Bulgaria is one of the countries with an excess of this type of energy, where the annual solar activity on a horizontal surface reaches about 1000 kWh / m 2 / year. In this work, solar collectors with a V-shaped trough of a concentrator system with two geometric concentrations are designed to obtain additional electric power. The main results show that the solar concentrator system causes an increase in short circuit current due to an increase in the amount of incident solar radiation from the solar modules and, consequently, an increase in the output power. Compared to the reference module, the increase in power during peak hours exceeds 40%. It can be concluded that the use of a V-Trough concentrating system in combination with modular solar systems can lead to a favorable price-benefit ratio.

In the last decade of the 21st century, society has witnessed a revolution of cooperation as important as the industrial revolution. Sharing needs and spaces are not just terms of the future, but a product of the strong dynamics of technology development. Choosing a workspace becomes an opportunity to share values, help each other and collaborate between people from different professions and develop independent ideas, which in turn increases the interest in research on the topic. In an effort to comply with the rules of sustainability in business, more and more entrepreneurs are turning to social activities or implementing social elements in an existing one. The global crises from the economic, geopolitical, health and humanitarian aspects are increasingly determining the focus of business models with a focus on sustainability, social character influenced by the shared economy. For the purposes of this a research grant at the Free University of Brussels was performed in the frames of the project “Economic Education in Bulgaria 2030” financed by the OPNOIR. It is based also on results from the IRISI project of FNI.
