Аs an example of the application of this idea is used the Labor Force Survey in Bulgaria, conducted by the National Statistical Institute in 2007, but the findings and conclusions can be applied to all mass studies in which missing values are observed.Item Изследване нагласите на българските граждани за социокултурно приемане на имигрантите (ГТД) в страната(Бургаски свободен университет, 2013) Колев, Николай; Куртева, Галина; Луизов, Атанас; Лазаров, Деян; Славянска, Вяра; Димитрова, ПавлинаImmigration is a relatively new phenomenon for Bulgaria that produces complex interactions between group and individuals. This article presents the attitudes of Bulgarian citizens towards immigrants. As a basis for our study we used the conceptual model of acculturation developed by Berry. The model was tested and validated with a sample of 400 respondents. Results of factor analysis indicate that there are four main types of attitudes toward immigrants – integration, assimilation, separation and marginalization. The results provided valued information and support for the integration policy.Item Нова конфигурация на световните финансови центрове или разместване на пластове в период на криза(Бургаски свободен университет, 2013) Димов, Сава; Рисимански, ИвоThe object of research interest in this paper are the so-called „capitals of capital” - the international financial centres, the leading rating valuations and expert analyses of these financial megalopolises. Some new trends in their shifting are analysed and the parameters of their current configuration are defined. The research is done in two parts – theoretical and methodological part, connected with the comments as regards the criteria for differentiation, and research part which analyses their global configuration. The scientific thesis defended is that in the period of global crisis the new configuration of the world financial centres has more flexible concentration and increased polarization, which makes them more resistant to the economic disturbances.Item Проблеми и решения за инвестициите на МСП(Бургаски свободен университет, 2013) Балтов, МиленDue to the aggravating effect of the financial and economic crisis, many SMEs have difficulty in accessing finance. Consequently, Members encourage the European Commission to continue its efforts in promoting national-level implementation of the ‘Think Small First’ principle, which implies a further simplification of the regulatory and administrative environment for SMEs. The European Parliament recalls that banking institutions which have benefited during the crisis from state aid should be subject to targets for their financing amounts and conditions for SMEs. Because of the fragmentation of the banking sector and the subsequent great divergence in lending rates and credit offer among countries, it calls for a differentiated approach to improving SMEs' access to funding is necessary, taking into account the country-specific circumstances.Item Bulgaria as a tourist destination: The product quality perception of the resort hotels(Бургаски свободен университет, 2013) Анастасова, ЛинаThe paper presents the results of a secondary data analysis examining Polish tourists’ perception of tourism product quality offered by Bulgarian hotels. The researchers examined data collected by Itaka travel agency between 2010-2012 regarding tourists’ satisfaction with the package holidays in Bulgaria. Since the number of Polish tourists visiting Bulgaria has increased over the last years, it has been hypothesized that Bulgarian hotels offer a competitive value proposition and a very good price/quality relationship. The surveyed sample of tourists spent their summer holiday in one of 18 summer resorts located in Sunny Beach and in Golden Sands, 10 – three+-star hotels and 8 – four-star hotels and the total sample volume is 888 tourists. The quantitative analysis of tourists’ perceptions of product quality offered by Bulgarian hotels was performed through the SERVPERF scale based on the evaluation of a list of hotel attributes representing values important for tourists.
