Since the beginning of its creation in 1935, radar systems began to gain great popularity. Due to the mass interest, numerous publications and films about the radars appeared. They immediately found their application, and by 1939 England had built a chain of radar stations all along its southern and eastern coasts to guard against potential enemies by air and water. The peak of interest in radar technology came at the time of World War II. Aircraft and ships equipped with radar systems gain a huge advantage over enemy aircraft and vessels. By 1940, Germany also began to use radars effectively. Japan, on the other hand, never reached their full use, which contributed to the heavy defeats the country suffered during the war. Thanks to its good radar system, the United States of America was able to predict the attack on Pearl Harbor one hour before it happened. That's how important radar technology and its rapid development played in those turbulent and uncertain times. Today, it's no different. The times we live in are just as restless and unpredictable. It is extremely important that the development of this type of technology continues. Evolution in this area will bring peace and a sense of security to people, as this will ensure that in the event of an attack by enemy forces, they will be far more prepared and this could save millions of innocent lives. The purpose of this publication is to develop a mini radar model based on an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and an Arduino compatible microcontroller.
