Item AMBIENT-ORIENTED MODELING OF INTELLIGENT CONTEXT AWARE SYSTEMS(Бургаски свободен университет, 2018) Глушкова, Тодорка; Стоянов, СтанимирThe paper presents an approach for modeling intelligent IoT context-sensitive systems. Ambient-oriented modeling allows for the tracking of processes in the area under consideration, taking into account dynamic environmental changes. The main concepts and characteristics of the approach are considered. Described is the formal System of Context-aware Ambients (CCA) supporting the approach. The intrusion detection process attempts to detect malicious attacks by examining various data collected during processes on the protected system. The present paper proposed an adaptive approach of anomaly based intrusion detection which is grounded on classification trees and relative entropy. The major results of the implemented simulation experiments are presented and discussed as well.Item EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ANOMALY IDS BASED ON THE CLUSTERING ALGORITHM AND DATA MINING TECHNIQUES(Бургаски свободен университет, 2013) Жечева, Веселина; Николова, ЕвгенияThe purpose of this paper is to examine the feasibility of clustering-based approach to anomaly-based intrusion detection systems (IDS). The examined methodology includes a 2-means clustering algorithm with and without data mining techniques, i.e. classification trees. With purpose to evaluate the effectiveness of the methodology, Jaccard index was applied. One method for them to communicate is by utilising an eventoriented approach. The various kinds of tasks, execution contexts and physical environments where the events can happen require the development of a flexible and portable model, combining different distribution and event processing methodologies described in this report.Item MATLAB И PSPICE В ИЗУЧАВАНЕТО НА RC ГЕНЕРАТОРНИ СХЕМИ С ОПЕРАЦИОННИ УСИЛВАТЕЛИ(Бургаски свободен университет, 2014) Димитрова, ЕкатеринаСтатията е посветена на приложението на PSpice и Matlab в изучаването на схеми със селективни честотни характеристики с операционни усилватели в случая на синусоидални генератори. Направен е концептуален акцент върху подхода за анализ на RC генераторни схеми базиран на критерия на Barkhausen с приложение на обобщения метод на възловите потенциали на аналогови електронни схеми. Представени са симулационни изследвания с Matlab и PSpice, които потвърждават теоретичните резултати за конкретна схема. Извършена е симулационна настройка за стабилизацията на амплитудата на генератора. Показан е пример за съчетание на концептуалната и изчислителната работа с цел по-добро обучение на студентите и повишаване разбирането на честотнозависимите схеми.Item MPEG-21 СТАНДАРT(Бургаски свободен университет, 2014) Киен, ФамВ момента има много техники за компресиране на мултимедийни данни, като JPEG, JPEG2000 или MPEG стандарт. Обаче ефективността на компресиране на тези стандарти не е висока, и все още не отговаря на всички изисквания на потребителите, особено при цифрова телевизионна система с по-висока разделителна способност HDTV. Въвеждането на новите стандарти за компресиране като MPEG 4, MPEG 7 и наскоро MPEG 21 e частично решение на този проблем.Item NATIONWIDE PLAGIARISM DETECTION SYSTEM IN SLOVAKIA: IN OPERATION SINCE 2010(Бургаски свободен университет, 2015) Kravjar, JuliusSlovakia made a unique and significant step forward in the fight against plagiarism at higher education institutions in April 2010. At this time, the SK ANTIPLAG system (a central repository of theses and dissertations, a plagiarism detection system) started routine operation on a national level after a preparatory phase. Pursuant to the amendment to the Higher Education Act from October 2009, the use of SK ANTIPLAG is mandatory for all Slovak higher education institutions operating under the Slovak legal order. It is an example of an unparalleled and unprecedented implementation of such a system on a national level. The simple agent has grown from a single agent in VES [2] to multi agent system with a major part in the space and has become capable of working with outside network of sensors. The latest revision of the systems takes into considerations people with different health problems and disabilities.Item PSPICE SIMULATIONS OF OPTOELECTRONIC PULSE GENERATORS(Бургаски свободен университет, 2013) Събев, Христо; Караджов, ЦанкоГенераторите на непрекъснати правоъгълни импулси са построени с ТТЛ интегрални схеми, свързани като тригери на Шмит и фототранзисторни оптрони на базата на патентовани схеми на генератори. Тези генератори нямат реактивни елементи във времезадаващите си вериги. Извършена е РSPICE симулация на 5 такива схеми на генератори като са дадени само изходните напрежения на генераторите. Извършено е сравнение на резултатите от симулациите, изчисленията и практическите измервания. Относителната грешка не надвишава 20 %.Item RAHVAKOGU - HOW THE PEOPLE CHANGED THE LAWS OF ESTONIA(Бургаски свободен университет, 2015) Grímsson, Gunnar; Razgute, Giedre; Hinsberg, HilleIn 2012, a political scandal became public in Estonia that was related to illegal party funding. This led to large street protests not seen since Estonia left the Soviet Union. The solution proposed was to change the laws governing political parties. The changes would, of course, have to be debated and voted upon by the Parliament, but citizens were called upon to present solutions in a crowdsourcing process.Item SAR/ISAR ADVANCED IMAGE RECONSTRUCTION ALGORITHMS(Бургаски свободен университет, 2018) Лазаров, Андон; Минчев, Димитър; Минчев, Чавдар; Димитров, АтанасIn this work SAR/ISAR (Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar/Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar) parametric image reconstruction concepts are discussed. First, an image reconstruction procedure based on l0 norm optimization is developed and applied over reduced number of measurements defined by randomly generated azimuth and range sensing matrices. Second, Kalman algorithm is applied for ISAR image extraction. Vector measurement and state equations are derived. Approximation functions based on LFM signal are defined. Software architecture of an innovative tourist guide is presented.Item SOME CONDITIONS FOR ELECTRONIC VOTING(Бургаски свободен университет, 2015) McCarthy, SmáriThe critique of electronic voting tends to stem from two primary factors: technical concerns about the security of electronic voting, and the level of technical understanding voters must be presumed to have in order to trust electronic voting methods. In this paper I will show that the issue of security regards guaranteeing two features: unlinkability and verifiability. I will address some of the conditions required to guarantee unlinkability and verifiability, show why they have never coexisted in any voting system, electronic or otherwise; and propose conditions which, if met, should guarantee simultaneous unlinkability and verifiability. In order to do that, I shall attempt to demonstrate that unlinkability and verifiability are necessary and sufficient conditions, given a practical definition of security. Finally, I will try to address how a system implemented in such a way need not be technically incomprehensible to a reasonable voter.
