Abstract
In this paper it is provided a framework indicating the major competences to be achieved by the staff for effective performance of various types of service processes. The three types most commonly required in practice of services competences are presented. On the basis of a particular service process classification scheme examined relationship has been analyzed. Conclusions regarding compliance „competencies - type of the service process” have been formulated.
