Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study of conflict management practice in Bulgarian organizations. The study explores the managerial approach to conflicts and reveals the knowledge, skills and strategies which managers have acquired to deal with conflicts between their subordinates. Finally, the paper outlines the shortcomings of managers’ competencies while managing conflicts in organizations.
