Abstract

Population ageing can not be stopped by implying government policies. What can be done is trying to deal with the consequences of ageing by applying a combination of different policies. Ageing is posing problems in almost every sphere of public life, so a complex mix of policies is needed in response. This paper examines the way different policies can contribute to resolve the issues posed by demographic changes.
