Abstract

The purpose of this article is to share the efforts of the professional pharmaceutical organization in the United States / APhA / to amend federal law to recognize the pharmacist as an integral part of the health team, to inform pharmacists in our country about the decision of the US Department of Health and Human Services to involve pharmacists in the fight against the pandemic of (COVID-19), as well as for the specific interventions of pharmacists in the United States to participate in traditional immunization of children and pre-vaccination of the American population against COVID-19, which may serve as a model for the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union / BFU / and pharmacists in our country. A search was performed in the specialized medical databases by keywords.
