THE INDUSTRIAL ZONES AS AN INSTRUMENT FOR THE PROMOTING THE TRANS-BORDER BUSINESS DYNAMICS – CASE OF A PROJECT SCHEME

Abstract

The industrial zones could be regarded as a part of the measures for the overcoming of the business problems. Through them an integration of all the local, regional and even national initiatives becomes focal point. In many aspect,s the responsible institutions, already as managing substantial funding from EU act as key in the process of creation and development of such initiatives in Bulgaria. Such is the case with a project started in 2007 as a platform for attracting foreign investors, for establishing the necessary conditions for building industrial zones, in which to provide space for subcontractors a variety of SMEs from the certain regions. The operation in a business network, will allow to increase the productivity and competitiveness of the companies, and on this ground of the national economy and to provide additional advantages out of the cheap labour.
