Abstract

This article has a theoretical and research character. Apart from access to quality education people with disabilities should have the opportunity to get a job in the open labor market. This is one of the most importantfactors for integration and autonomy. Highlights of the article are on the current status of employment of people with disabilities and the current legal framework that regulates and activates processes of employment and professional development of people with disabilities.
