Abstract

Fractional order derivatives are recently rediscovered old concept with promising applications in modern science. This paper investigates some of the main tools for fractional order analysis in various fields, more specifically in the field of Information Technologies. Visual and numerical results are also applied for better representing the behavior of some phenomena and the characteristics of the described techniques.
