Abstract

This report presents the national doctrine as one of the main factors for the development of the modern state. It is a kind of framework for political parties and the governments issued by them to create continuity in the realization of national interests and goals. The national doctrine is a long-term document, enabling the ruling party or coalition to have a good basis for developing its strategic documents concerning the governance of the state and ensuring the prosperity of the nation. On the other hand, the doctrine also has its deterrent effect regarding the deterrence of desires for a sharp change of strategic interests and objectives of the nation.
