dc.description.abstract | In 2012, a political scandal became public in Estonia that was related to illegal party funding. This led to large street protests not seen since Estonia left the Soviet Union. The solution proposed was to change the laws governing political parties. The changes would, of course, have to be debated and voted upon by the Parliament, but citizens were called upon to present solutions in a crowdsourcing process. | |
