dc.descriptionAccording to the Merchant Shipping Code seafarer is a natural person occupying a position on board a ship as a crew member or serving on shore and holding a certificate of competency, a certificate of proficiency, a certificate of supplementary or specialist training acquired. Ships flying the Bulgarian flag shall be manned by the required number of qualified seafarers, possessing the proper competency. The crew members must satisfy the requirements of physical fitness, established by an ordinance issued by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications and the Minister of Health. Seafarers who do not meet the requirements for physical fitness and do not hold a valid certificate are not allowed to work on a ship. The aim of the article is to present the legal aspects of the physical fitness of seafarers.
dc.description.abstractМорско лице е физическо лице, което заема длъжност на кораб като член на екипажа или изпълнява служба на брега и притежава свидетелство за правоспособност, свидетелство за професионална компетентност, свидетелство за до пълнителна или специална подготовка, придобито по съответния ред. Екипажът на корабите, плаващи под българско знаме се попълва с необходимия брой квалифицирани морски лица, притежаващи съответна правоспособност. Членовете на екипажа трябва да отговарят на изискванията за здравословна годност, определени с наредба, издадена от министъра на транспорта и съобщенията и министъра на здравеопазването. Морските лица, които не отговарят на изискванията за здравословна годност и не притежават валидно свидетелство, не се допускат до работа на кораб. Статията разглежда правните аспекти на здравословната годност на морските лица.
