Abstract

The compliance with the judgment of the UN International Court of Justice indicates that the dispute, under which the judgment was delivered, has been settled. Therefore, the compliance with the judgment is the sole necessary and desired result of the case in the Court. The compliance with the judgment is rather a matter of fact than a matter of law. In spite of certain political powers of the UN Security Council regarding the compliance with the judgment, it is rather subject to the wilful and good faith conduct of the parties to the dispute.
