dc.description.abstractUntil a few years ago, the implementation of electrical safety measures relied mainly on the human factor. With the development of technologies and especially with the introduction of modern computer and software systems in the power industry, part of the functions of control, management and signaling for safe operation were taken over by the so-called Information Control Complexes, as part of the Automated Dispatching Systems. This article analyzes the impact of these trends on the structure of the electricity system and, in particular, on the safety management of its operation.
