Abstract

Transport accidents can lead to significant material losses and casualties. Although humanity does not have the ability to prevent all transport accidents, it can limit their impact and reduce the losses they cause. It is necessary to know the nature of each transport accident, the preventive measures to be taken against its occurrence, the course of action during the accident itself, the assessment of losses and the possibilities to reduce the risk of their occurrence.
