dc.description.abstract | The authors present a new idea for a rotary turbine with a vertical axis of rotation. The principle of operation of this turbine is transferred from sailing by drawing a parallel between a rotor turbine and a yacht, or a group of yachts moving in a circle and connected in a common center, and instead of a skipper directing the sails at an active angle to the wind direction, a mechanism called a guide apparatus. | |
