| dc.description.abstract | The report aims to examine some key provisions and the most recent developments regarding the composition and the work of the International Law Commission (ILC). The ILC has been established as a subsidiary organ of the United Nations’ General Assembly in 1947 and ever since has had for its object the promotion of the progressive development of international law and its codification.
