Abstract

The residence of foreigners in the country is connected to a number of administrative procedures and is regulated in Bulgarian legislation in good terms with European legal norms. The law is based on the principle of control and management of the migration processes from the viewpoint of conservation of national security and social order. The report looks into the functions of institutions for administrative control of foreigners in the process of issuance of residence permit for the citizens of third states in the Republic of Bulgaria and the interaction between the qualified national institutions.
