Abstract

Modern reproductive technologies have raised new questions related to the psychopathological processes of women with fertility problems. The text follows a case of depression after impossibility to conceive. The state of grief and mourning can develop into pathological mourning or clinical depression. The theoretical references to the ideas of Julia Kristeva enable the psychoanalysis of the clinical signs and accompanying the subject during the dramatic life situation.
