Abstract

Family policies hold a particular status in the quest for a more equitable world as it intersects the rights of women, children, and workers. The state of family policies in different countries of the EU varies widely. This paper discusses the importance of developing and implementing of evidence-based family policies. Establishing familyfriendly policies may prove to be vital for the child well being.
