dc.description.abstractThe article reviews the possibility of using optical fibers as a distributed acoustic sensor. An proposal is given to develop a method for sampling of the acoustic signal and its storage in the form of a discrete number of points for further processing, for comparison or audition of audio signal. The method is based on the use of nonlinear effects and Raman and Brilyuen in optical fibers and analysis of information obtained by measuring on the principle of BTDR (Brillouin time-domain reflectometry) и RTDR ( Raman time-domain reflectometry ).
