dc.description.abstractThe building sector is one of the most significant consumers of energy resources within the European Union, responsible for over 40% of final energy consumption and approximately 36% of greenhouse gas emissions. This study analyses the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to fundamentally transform approaches to increasing energy efficiency in buildings, examining the synergy between AI and certified energy software tools in the context of European and national sustainable development policies.
