dc.descriptionGambling addiction, also known as „problem” or „compulsive gambling”, is a condition in which a person feels compelled to gamble despite being aware of the negative consequences of doing so and wanting to stop. This is one of the main and current problems of the present day, with immeasurable negatives for the social well-being of society in the foreseeable future. At the same time, timely and/or adequate measures are not taken to cut off and neutralize the harmful consequences of gambling addiction and mainly preventive ones, namely - to provide professional help to those addicted to this condition.
dc.description.abstractХазартната зависимост, също известна като „проблемно” или „компулсивно залагане”, е състояние, при което човек се чувства принуден да играе хазарт, въпреки че осъзнава негативните последици от това и желае да спре. Това е един от основните и актуални проблеми на съвремието, с неизмерими негативи за социалното благосъстояние на обществото в обозримо бъдеще. Същевременно, не се предприемат своевременни и/или адекватни мерки за пресичане и неутрализиране на вредните последици от зависимостта към хазарта и основно превантивни такива, а именно – да се предостави професионална помощ на зависимите от това състояние.
