Abstract

In the overall strategy adopted by the European Commission “Transport 2050”, one of the key goals for a competitive transport system is cleaner fuels and cleaner motor vehicles. This could be achieved by stimulating the usage of new power sources – biofuels and electric motor vehicles. Its realization is possible: through fiscal measures, which could make the usage of traditional motor vehicles in the cities more unacceptable, as well as through the development of more convenient infrastructure and public transport.
