Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyse possibilities for joint activities and initiatives between Bulgarian universities, business representatives and national and international professional organisations, taking into consideration our national characteristics as well as the experience and achievements of countries with well-developed accounting education. Different opportunities for cooperation are studied based on best international practices. Some potential problems are explored in the context of our peculiarities and traditions.
