| dc.description.abstract | The paper is dedicated to the legal regulation of mediation and other Alternative Dispute Resolution Means (“ADR”). As a result of analysis of this regulation in the cousre of 7 years following the adoption of the initial legal text, conclusions are drawn that the low quality of the legal regulation represents a major deterrent factor for the utilization of mediation and other ADR. The conclusions seem to be valid even concerning the latest vesrion of the Law on Mediation which claims to have satisfied the requirements put forward by the European Directive on Mediation. | |
