Abstract: The main goal of this research paper is to make an attempt for exploring the behavior of the Bulgarian non-organized travelers concerning their destination and accommodation choice with comparison to the behavior of the travelers in the past. The second study goal was to identify the typical profile of the Bulgarian travelers. The research method was based on content analysis of the information from the open-ended questions to the members of a closed Bulgarian group „Travelling in the world” in Facebook. The sample consists of 164 respondents which responses on voluntary basis form the primary research information. Тhe study identified 3 main travelers’ segments among the Bulgarians travelers called by the author as follows: „Comfort Travelers”, „Adventurers” and „Travelers around”. The final part of the paper includes some conclusions from the study about the actual Bulgarian travelers’ behavior on behalf of destination and accommodation choice.
