Abstract

The high-priority topics to be taken into consideration are the integration processes in the creation of global value chains, in particular - the concept of global value chains, value creation activities, the construction of global chains, the driving forces of integration in global value chains, types of governance in global value chains and some examples of value-added trade. The object of analysis is the possibilities of Germany as a European leader in digital cooperation with the Russian Federation. For this purpose, a brief overview of the state of the Russian digital economy, possible digital areas of cooperation between Russia and Germany, the Russian-German initiative for digitalization of the economy and the German-Russian concept of „Factory of the Future“ in the context of accelerated digitalization of the Russian economy.
