| Abstract: | The article analyzes the specifics of the metaphors in press publications in 2007 – 2008. The metaphors are classified as structural, orientational and ontological. Attention is pointed also to the metaphoric tropes oxymoron and hyperbola. The research was carried out under the project “Ethnopsycholinguistic and sociolinguistic aspects of the media language in Bulgaria after the acquisition to EU”. |
