Abstract: The paper analyzes the nature of civic protest and the journalistic objectivity during time of civil. The research examines the public opinion on the role of the press it played as a social moderator during the social protests in Bulgaria in 2013. The survey is part of the project Ethnopsycholinguistic and sociolinguistic aspects of the language of the press in Bulgaria.
