Abstract

Information superhighway Internet communication bay space with signs of a different nature. Information contributes to the development of the knowledge economy. According to the analytical framework developed by the World Bank, one of the four pillars in the "knowledge economy" is well developed information infrastructure. Internet as a communication channel through which information can flow is part of the second pillar of the knowledge economy. A growing part of the audience, especially those in adolescence, turning to the global network as a source of information. This report will examine the flow of information on the topic „European Union” two news agencies - and the Bulgarian News Agency news agency „Focus”. Method of content - analysis, comparison and dimensional statistical Disposition will establish the contribution of the IT infrastructure to develop the knowledge economy.
