Abstract: Статията представя авторски подход за методологията на соци- алната работа, с обосновка на научните социални подходи, целите и прин- ципите на социалната работа. Извежда се авторска теза за значението на социалния подпомагащ процес не като потребителска, а като дейност – со- циална протекция. The article produces an author’s approach for the methodology of the social work, with a validity of the scientific social approaches, the purposes and the principles of the social work. An author’s thesis is deduced for the meaning of the social assisting process not as consumer’s, but as an activity – social protection.
